It entails the formulation of  site criteria and site evaluation.
  • Site Utilization and Land-Use Studies

It is a detailed analysis of the site and its surrounding environment.
  • Architectural Research

It involves a detailed researches and gathering of facts as a basis for conclusion.
  • Space Planning

It allocate adequate size and appropriate configuration considers the use, allocation and interface of spaces.
  • Space Management Studies

An analysis of the space requirements of the project based on organizational structure and functional set-up linkages and interaction of spaces.
  • Value Management

It involves cost management process or system that would minimize the project cost.
  • Design Brief Preparation

It is a document that indicates the project Terms of Reference (TOR) including the concept, objectives and other requirements for bidding out architectural services.

A service in addition to the other services an architect can offer. The architect may act as the agent of the owner. It involves promotional activities.

It is an analytical problem-seeking process for horizontal and vertical requirements.
